BAND MEMBERS

Vocals – Claire Brooks

Claire’s been a lead and backing singer on the Yorkshire music scene since 2007 – and there’s no getting rid of her any time soon! She’s had a passion for music ever since she pretended to be one of the Spice Girls (and occasionally still does a bit of Wannabe in karaoke bars). When she isn’t singing, Claire loves to play video games and dance, act and fiddle about on stage. She also has an unsettlingly vast knowledge of the Eurovision Song Contest :)

Keyboard – David Randall

One of the youngest members of the new line-up, if David were your brother, he’d bring funk and soul to the family. Effortless harmonies and delicious hammond sounds resonate from his fingertips. Works particularly well with “other Dave”. +5 Skill

Guitar – David Tildesley

As the Eagles once put it, “You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave!” David was once a valued member of the Pink Cadillac team, and we are so very pleased to welcome him back to the fold! He shows a touch of class with his creamy-bluesy tones, but can also produce a darn fine solo line that will make you weak at the knees.

Drums – Mike StierDSC_0918-002

Has seen and has been with the best during his performance career. A tonne of experience makes this man an incredible drummer. Too modest for his own good. Full-time professional musician and teacher, with huge experience and connections with the stars.

074Sax – Nigel Ward

Sax player – soprano, alto, tenor and baritone. Still enjoying the pop challenge laid down by some amazing sax players of the last 50 years. Ex-professional musician with real flare and years of live experience. Adores Blood Sweat and Tears and others similar.

Trumpet – Robert Speight069

A qualified lawyer and an experienced taxidermist, Bob has spent most of his working life flying jets in the Canadian Air Force. But playing the trumpet has always been where his real interests lie and so, when the call came to join Pink Cadillac, he returned to the UK and has never looked back. So if you are thinking of getting divorced, have something that needs stuffing or if you fancy a thrill at 30,000 feet, he’ll be happy to oblige – providing he’s not playing his trumpet with the band, of course!

Bass – Nicola Taylor

017_cropCompletes the rhythm section as the bass player and backing singer. Also in charge of the cow bell.

She has played in many different style of bands in York such as funk-rock, acoustic-pop, all-female melodic rock and post-rock. Although she was brought up on a diet of piano and violin, Nicola loves any music which brings out some emotion, has good rhythm, a great melody line or vocal harmonies. Or cow bell.
